The Barrack Charitable Trust is supporting a further fourteen Scottish charities to the tune of £40,000, in its latest tranche of donations for 2022:
- People with a Mission Ministries, Perth – £5,000
- Corbenic Camphill Community, Dunkeld – £5,000
- Cyrenians Homeless Charity, Edinburgh – £5,000
- Earl Haig Fund Scotland (Poppy Scotland), Edinburgh – £5,000
- The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – £3,200
- Stroke Association – £3,000
- Right Track Scotland Ltd, Coatbridge – £3,000
- Sutherland Care Forum, Golspie – £3,000
- Scouts Scotland – £2,500
- Children 1st, Edinburgh – £2,500
- Southdean Village Hall, Hawick – £1,000
- Asthma Relief, Aberdeen – £950
- Inverurie Concert Band, Inverurie – £450
- Nil By Mouth, Glasgow – £300
Commenting on the charitable funding from the Trust, James Barrack said:
“At this time of year, it is particularly important to remember others in need or less fortunate.
“I am proud to support such a wide range of worthwhile charities providing service, care and support right across Scotland.”
Established in 2009 by Knight Property Group Founder and Chairman James Barrack, the Trust aims to assist organisations cope with the decrease in charitable donations for specific projects due to the economic climate faced at the time. In recent times, this has been increasingly vital. The Trust is solely supported by Knight Property Group.
