Knight Property Group directors James Barrack, Howard Crawshaw and Gordon Middleton have successfully completed the Palace to Palace Cycle Challenge in London, raising more than £4,000 for The King’s Trust.

The trio took on the 50-mile challenge on Sunday 4 October as part of celebrations marking 50 years of The King’s Trust, formerly known as The Prince’s Trust.

Setting off from the world-famous Mall, the Knight team cycled past Buckingham Palace and took in some of London’s most iconic landmarks, as well as scenic countryside, before crossing the finish line at Battersea Park.

After weeks of training, including early morning rides, weekend miles and more than a few challenging conditions, the three directors completed the route and surpassed their fundraising target.

Knight Property Group Founder & Chairman, James Barrack, said:

“It was a fantastic day and a real sense of achievement to cross the finish line after all the training and preparation. The 50 miles certainly tested the legs, but having done it as a team made the challenge even more enjoyable.

“Most importantly, we are delighted to have more than £4,000 for The King’s Trust. A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored us and supported our fundraising. Every single donation will help the Trust continue its vital work supporting young people and transforming futures.”

The Palace to Palace Cycle Challenge formed part of The King’s Trust’s 50th anniversary celebrations, bringing together thousands of participants to raise funds for the charity’s work with young people across the UK.

The Knight Property Group team would like to thank everyone who donated, shared their fundraising efforts and supported them throughout their training and on the day.

While the bikes can now be put away, the team can take some satisfaction from having completed the challenge and most importantly, having raised a significant amount for a very worthwhile cause.
