Knight Property Group has pledged its continued support to The Prince’s Trust by sponsoring and supporting the organisation of the inaugural Prince’s Trust Clay Pigeon Shoot on Friday 9th August at the Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire.

The Prince’s Trust of Scotland was established in 1976 and has provided key skills, training and financial aid to help over 700,000 young people from ages 13-30 across the UK change and improve their lives. Knight Property Group has been a supporter of the Prince’s Trust for seven years and has helped raise a substantial six figure sum over this period.

Patron of the Prince’s Trust and Chairman of Knight Property, James Barrack said, “Each year The Trust supports thousands of young people in Scotland who are not in education, training or employment or who are at risk of under achieving in school. These youngsters face a number of barriers and are trapped in a downward spiral, but with the support of The Trust transform their young lives.”

The Clay Pigeon Shoot is an unrivalled sporting layout for participants of all levels and incorporates a host of activities for non- shooting participants including archery, polo lessons, rifle shooting and haggis clay. This year, auction prizes include a four night stay in Provence, France, for 14, a clay pigeon shoot with Olympic Champion, Peter Wilson and a four course gourmet dinner for ten at Prestonfield House, Edinburgh.

James continued, “We are looking forward to what we are sure will be a fantastic and successful day. The auction prizes on offer are of an impeccable standard, and we look forward to raising much needed funds for The Trust.”

Christina Wright, head of Philanthropy and Events for The Prince’s Trust, said,“We are delighted that this exciting event will be raising vital funds in support of The Prince’s Trust in Scotland. We support thousands of young people across Scotland to get into work, education or training and turn their lives around.

“The generosity of our auction and prize donors and the commitment of the organising committee is exceptional and we are immensely grateful for the vital funds this event will raise to support us in helping thousands more young people reach their full potential and transform their lives.”
