Knight Property Group has secured a new tenant at Altens Industrial Estate, Souterhead Road in Aberdeen.
Euro Gas Systems (EGS), a Romanian-owned company, who is a leading independent packer of reciprocating compressors has agreed to a ten-year lease on Unit 1, which extends to 3,854 sq ft and includes a small office and designated parking.
The unit in Altens Aberdeen is the head office for EGS Turbines Ltd. This division operates as part of the EGS group of companies to service your compression and power generation requirements bringing world-class service, and products, to the marketplace. EGS Turbines aim to provide our customers with bespoke solutions that support their operations and gas turbines by assisting with increasing efficiency and decreasing downtime.
EGS uses its combined global capabilities to service new and existing customers from state-of-the-art facilities in Romania, Aberdeen, Dubai, and Nigeria. We are a local company with a global reach that supplies and services light industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines, turbomachinery, and rotating equipment. Their experience across a diverse range of turbomachinery worldwide ensures that EGS can always provide support, solutions, and the highest level of customer support to all its customers.
The new Aberdeen facility will be led by Ray van Gijssel (Managing Director), with Paul McGhee (Operations Director). Together, they bring over 35 years of experience in the turbine industry to the business.

Major occupiers in close proximity include Shell, Weatherford, Wood Group, Maersk and Odfjell, with Ocean Safety, JAM Cabling Limited and North East Services Limited located within the scheme.
