Knight Property Group has completed the sale of a 1.78 acre site at Arnhall Business Park in Westhill, to Costco Wholesale UK.
Costco, which already operates a large wholesale warehouse, has acquired the land which forms part of Knight’s Kingshill Commercial Park development, to accommodate its first petrol station in the north-east of Scotland. The new facility, which was granted planning consent by Aberdeenshire Council in April 2025, will include 12 fuel pumps and 12 electric vehicle charging bays exclusively for Costco members.
The development represents an expansion of Costco’s UK fuel network, which currently operates across 20 locations nationwide and forms part of the company’s wider strategy to introduce petrol stations at most of its UK sites.
Howard Crawshaw, Managing Director of Knight Property Group, commented:
“We are pleased to have completed this transaction with Costco, a valued member of the north east business community. Their investment in a new petrol and EV charging facility further strengthens Arnhall Business Park’s position as a thriving commercial hub and underscores the area’s continued appeal.”
Costco’s expansion marks another chapter in the ever-changing landscape of Westhill, with construction likely to commence early in 2026.
