Aberdeen-based Knight Property Group has announced the completion of Phase 1 of its £45 million development at Kingshill Commercial Park with the unveiling of the first two industrial units.

Work on the Westhill site commenced in early 2015. Both industrial units on the site have been developed on a speculative basis and consist of 5,500 sq ft of office space complete with air conditioning, raised access floor, 10,000 sq ft. of workshop space benefiting from 8.5 m external eaves height, and reinforced concrete yards and private parking.

Knight Property Group owns and developed neighbouring developments Kingshill Park, Prospect Park and Westpoint Business Park, which are currently occupied by a variety of tenants ranging from house-builder CALA, Kongsberg, BlueSky Business Space, Proserv and TEEKAY Corporation.

James Barrack, Managing Director at Knight Property Group, said: “Aberdeen City and Shire was lacking new, high quality industrial space. Reacting to the market demand we built Kingshill Commercial Park, which offers modern high spec industrial units to potential tenants.”

Founded in Aberdeen in 1987, Knight Property Group has recently expanded into the central belt, where they have acquired a number of properties in high profile locations. The firm is the sister company of Aberdeen’s Chess Group, which owns serviced office provider BlueSky Business Space, IT services company Eskimo Intelligent Solutions and mechanical services provider Aircon Scotland.
