Knight Property Group has announced the first two tenants for pavilions in its 8.40 acre development, Kingshill Business Park, in Westhill.

BlueSky Business Space, a serviced office business centre and DAI (Digital Applications International) an IT application engineering and systems delivery company, have both now taken occupation of their new buildings.

The entire Kingshill development will, upon completion, cater for up to 11 office pavilions providing approximately 115,200 sq ft. The first phase consists of four high-specification pavilions, two totalling 8,500 sq ft and the other two 10,500 sq ft each in size.

Previously, BlueSky confirmed there had been a strong demand for its new serviced office, having reached a 50% occupancy rate two months prior to the opening of its new purpose built 8,550 sq ft building. The company is investing £250,000 in the internal fit out of the building, which as well as 33 parking spaces, includes a reception, canteen and kitchen area.

The 8,550 sq ft DAI office space will accommodate X employees and is part of the company’s strategic plans for growth in the coming months.

Howard Crawshaw, director at Knight Property Group, said, “The first tenants moving into Kingshill is a real milestone for us. Since receiving planning permission in June 2013, we have worked hard with our contracted partner, Andrew Cowie Construction, to offer high-end commercial property space, which attracted great interest from a number of companies.

“Westhill remains a much sought after location for company bases and, over the next few months, we will continue to develop commercial space which meets the diverse needs of our client base.”

The construction of the remaining pavilions will commence this summer with office space ranging from 4,000 sq ft up to 18,000 sq ft.
