Knight Property Group has completed the sale of the Braehead Centre in Altens Industrial Estate to a private investor for 8% NIY.
The industrial estate comprises a modern development of 12 starter industrial units built in two parallel blocks, with the total floorspace extending to 14,340 sq ft. The units benefit from a central courtyard which provides space for parking and servicing.
James Barrack, Chairman and Founder of Knight Property Group said:
“We carried out a thorough refurbishment program recently which retained and bolstered the tenant line up. The sale brings to an end a lengthy period of ownership and the new owners have an asset that has always let up quickly when there has been a void given it’s location and unit sizes.”
The Braehead Centre is prominently located on the south side of Blackness Avenue at the corner of Blackness Road within Altens Industrial Estate, approximately three miles south of Aberdeen City Centre and is one of the city’s premier industrial locations.
Major occupiers located within the vicinity include Wood, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, Peterson, Stena Drilling and Fedex.
Ryden advised on the sale.
