This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the successful delivery of a key project. It would suit someone with experience in commercial management and/or project management who is looking to make a meaningful impact.

The position is initially offered on a temporary/contract basis until the end of the year, with the potential for extension subject to review.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with the  Knight Property Group team, develop an agreed scope of works to allow contractors to price work packages.
• Develop pricing/tendering documentation and manage the tendering process.
• Manage the quality of finish on site and raise any concerns with the main contractor.
• Manage contractors’ monthly valuations and variations and produce reports.
• Work within the agreed budget and highlight any potential risks that may have an impact on the budget.

Requirements:

• Ability to programme the works
• Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and Project.
• A recognised health and safety qualification
• Must be proactive and possess a “can do” attitude and be able to deal with issues reactively.
• Ability to build positive relationships with the contractor.
